Tasting Notes

2018 McLaren Vale Cabernet Shiraz

"Gorgeously ripe and inviting with black/blueberry, violet, dark cocoa, clove and roasted nut characters, it’s succulent and beautifully weighted in the mouth delivering plump mouthfeel and silky tannins. Generous and flavoursome with a lengthy delectable finish. At its best: now to 2033."

2015 Diamond Label Cabernet Shiraz

The 2015 vintage enticed these two fine varieties to give of their best, producing a blend replete with richness and character. Full bodied and well rounded, this is a wine to make you smile.

The growing season was characteristically dry, with mild temperatures through mid to late summer allowing for small berries with intense colour and flavour and high levels of ripe skin tannins.

2016 Gold Label Shiraz Cabernet

Traditional McLaren Vale reds are bountiful and full-bodied. This vintage is of no exception: brilliant in colour, vivacious in character with a long, lingering finish that true red wine lovers will lust over!

The blending of these two varieties together has given the wine a multi-dimensional complexity and a velvety softness.

2016 Silver Label Cabernet

Deep Red-magenta with purple hues.

The bouquet exhibits an array of fruits from cherry berry to peppery, plumb characters and an abundance of spice.

The palate is full, flavoursome and rich, yet has an attractively soft and velvety finish. It has a wholesome mouth-feel that lingers long after the wine has been swallowed.
